web design services

whatThat’s not to say we’re very expensive. We’re not. In fact, among colleagues we find ourselves to be priced very low and feel we’re very competitive. But on the flip side, we frequently get inquiries from people who are in the market for a website and have no idea where to start, and then are flabbergasted when they get the quote.

The biggest mistake people make when looking for a web developer or web designer for their small business website, is establishing a budget before figuring out what kind of website they need and what they need it to do. Not all websites are created equal. Some are simple to put together, and others are much more complex. Some come together quickly, some take a long time. What do you want your website to do?

The first thing we’ll do is help you figure out what your website needs and what you want it to do, and how we will go about making that happen. Then, we’ll figure out the best solution and figure out how to price the project.

If you start your search with, “I’ve got $500 to spend on a website” without thinking about what you need the website to do for you, then you are going to have a website that doesn’t do what you need it to do. And having a website that isn’t performing how you need it to isn’t worth anything, let alone the money you did budget to get it.

Having a bad website, is worse than having no website at all.

This has been my motto for many years now. You can hire a freelancer, a college student, your neighbor’s kid, to make you a website. And maybe they’ll do a good job. But will they have the skill to ask you what you need the website to do? To figure out how to make the website work for you to help your business grow?

We help you find solutions that make your website work for you. We won’t always be the best, and we won’t always be the cheapest. But we’ll help you figure out what you need and how to achieve it.
