If you own a small business you are probably already on Twitter, if not, there is no reason why you shouldn’t be on Twitter. Your social media presence is one of the ways your customers will connect with you. Twitter gives you a fast and easy way to connect with your customers on a daily basis. And if you are going to put yourself out there, you might as well make sure your profile looks fantastic.
Here are the sizing specs to make sure your Twitter account is looking its best:
- Make sure your header is at least 1500 pixels wide and 500 pixels tall and uploaded to a max size of 10mb as jpg, gif or png.
- Your profile image should be at least 400 x 400 pixels and uploaded no larger than 100kb as a jpg, gif or png.
- In-stream photos will expand to 1024 pixels by 512 pixels, they will appear in your Twitter stream at a minimum size of 440 x 220 pixels or 506 x 253 pixels. The maximum file size for in-stream photos is 5mb and 3mb for animated gifs.
