Uniqueness
This is the mark of your small business and it needs to stand out from your competitors. Of course, if you have developed a good brand it is only a matter of time before one of your competitors has a similar design, so be sure and keep your brand up-to-date by evaluating it often.
Colorful impact
Your brand and/or logo need to grab the attention of potential clients. One great way to do this is with color, and every color has a cultural meaning that conveys a different message. For instance, red is bold and powerful, purple is often thought of as spiritual, green is always a good indicator of health, abundance, and growth. Blue is a popular choice for businesses since it is professional and calming.
Memorable
Sometimes a logo has so much going on that it is difficult to recognize. Simplifying your brand or logo with making it easier for the brain to recall at a moment’s notice.
Creative
Logos that are creative and fun are often ones that clients remember. Sometimes a double entendre will catch someone’s attention or a clever use of typography. Whatever it is, don’t overdo it and let the creativity come to you. Once the client identifies with it, you’re set.
