Lorem Ipsum

COLOR: I find color inspiration all over, but a couple websites I find myself heading back to over and over are Plenty of Colour, which is a daily design blog devoted to showcasing and celebrating colour, and COLOURlovers, which is a creative community where people create and share colors, palettes and patterns and discuss the latest color trends.

TEXTURE: For background patterns and texture I like Subtle Patterns. Subtle Patterns was created by Alto Mo and his goal was to provide a high quality resource for anyone in need of tilalbe textured patterns for free.

ICONS: Font icons are all the rage and a great place for custom built and crisp icon fonts is IcoMoon.

ADVICE: Amy and I are both fans of daily blogger and WordPress guru, Chris Lema, for WordPress and business advice. We’ve seen him present at WordCamps in Las Vegas and Chicago. He helps companies leverage WordPress, and helps WordPress companies find leverage.

DUMMY TEXT: For placeholder text my goto site is Lorem ipsum. Lorem ipsum comes from a book written by Marcus Tullius Cicero, “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” or “The Extremes of Good and Evil”, which was written in 45 BC. Lorem Ipsum in Latin translates to: “There is no one who loves pain itself, who seeks after it and wants to have it, simply because it is pain.” Today, Lorem Ipsum is simply placeholder text of the design industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the standard placeholder text ever since the 1500s. Lorem ipsum has survived five centuries and is still essentially unchanged in todays modern world of typesetting. However, if you are looking for something a little spicier as placeholder text, try the Samuel L. Jackson way.

We love what we do here at Sumy Designs and we would love to work with you. If you are looking for a new website or just need to update your current site, contact us for a free estimate.
