Gutenberg is the new editor experience in WordPress 5.0. You may or may not want to use it, but eventually we’ll all have no choice, as the classic editor plugin will stop being maintained in 2021.
For that reason, I figured I should go ahead and start using it and with that in mind, created this six minute video to show some of the most basic aspects of the new block editor for those wanting to see how it works.
Keep in mind I just covered the basics of the basics here, and my screen casting skills could use a little polishing. I plan to do a few more tutorials down the road but for those wondering what the fuss is about, this should cover it.
